Discover three cities in two countries on a private excursion from Lisbon. The itinerary combines the heritage of Alentejo with the atmosphere of Spain's Extremadura region, in a vehicle reserved for you and your companions.
The first stop is Évora. Walk through the historic old town, admire the columns of the Roman Temple and visit Giraldo Square. You can choose to visit the interior of the Cathedral and the Chapel of Bones, with tickets paid separately, according to your interests and the time available.
Continue on to Elvas, a town marked by its history of defending the border. Admire the Amoreira Aqueduct and explore the historic area, the ramparts, and the castle grounds. A visit to the Graça Fort can be considered if the schedule and duration of the tour allow. Access to the inside of the monuments depends on availability and may require an admission ticket.
Cross the border to Badajoz to discover the Alcazaba complex, Plaza Alta and the area of the Cathedral of San Juan Bautista. The Puerta de Palmas completes the tour of the city before the return drive to Lisbon.
The tour will last approximately 12 hours, including travel time. Pick-up and drop-off are arranged in the Lisbon area. The driver accompanies the group in Portuguese or English and helps to organize the stops. Visits inside the monuments do not include an expert guide, except when indicated on the admission ticket purchased separately.
The itinerary is flexible and can be adjusted in agreement with the client, taking into account opening hours, access, traffic and the contracted duration. Entrance fees, meals and optional experiences are not included. Arrange visits that require a booking in advance.
