In December 2026, Disney's THE LION KING will celebrate its 25th anniversary at the Stage Theater on the port – and all of Hamburg will be joining in the celebration! Look forward to an anniversary year full of surprises and 25 very special stories. Because one day isn't enough for us – we're making the whole year our birthday.

The festivities kicked off on December 2, 2024 – we celebrated our 24th anniversary with numerous guests and great anticipation. But that was only the beginning. Hamburg can look forward to an anniversary year filled with many surprising initiatives and exclusive events related to the show, featuring exciting partnerships and well-known well-wishers. Disney's THE LION KING will be visible at the harbor, around the Alster, and on the Elbphilharmonie. The highlight will be the grand gala on December 2, 2026 – exactly 25 years after the premiere performance.
