This 2-day safari is carefully designed to give you a different perspective of wildlife first during a night game drive and then a morning peaceful cycling game drive safari through the Savannah.
DAY 01: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK & NIGHT GAME DRIVE
Meet your professional driver-guide for a short briefing before departing Kampala for Lake Mburo National Park. The drive takes you through scenic countryside, rolling hills, and small towns such as Masaka and Lyantonde, offering beautiful views of rural Uganda.
Arrive at the park in the afternoon and check in at your lodge. Take some time to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings before preparing for your evening adventure.
As night falls, head out for a guided night game drive accompanied by a park ranger. Using spotlights, you’ll search for nocturnal wildlife including leopards, spotted hyenas, bush babies, porcupines, white-tailed mongooses, and nocturnal birds such as owls and nightjars. The experience offers a completely different perspective of the park, filled with mystery and excitement.
After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.


DAY 02: BICYCLE SAFARI & TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. After a safety briefing and bicycle fitting, head out for a guided bicycle safari escorted by an armed ranger.
Cycling quietly along designated park tracks allows you to experience wildlife up close without the noise of an engine. You may encounter zebras, impalas, warthogs, buffaloes, and various bird species as you ride through open savannah, acacia woodlands, and scenic viewpoints overlooking lakes and wetlands. The ride lasts approximately 2–3 hours and is both exhilarating and peaceful.
After the bicycle experience, return to the lodge, check out, and begin your drive back to Kampala, arriving in the afternoon.

This safari involves light physical activity, especially during the bicycle ride, which lasts approximately 2–3 hours and requires basic fitness and confidence riding a bike. Children may participate depending on age and ability.

Wildlife sightings, especially during the night game drive, cannot be guaranteed as animals move freely in their natural habitat.

Please carry comfortable clothing, closed shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a light jacket for the evening game drive. Helmets and safety gear are provided for the cycling activity.

The tour departs early from Kampala or Entebbe and involves a 4–5-hour drive each way. Road conditions may vary.

For safety, all activities inside the park are conducted with experienced guides and armed rangers, and instructions must be followed at all times.
