2-Day Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Ba Be Lake Adventure

Day 1: Hanoi – Cao Bang – Angel Eye Mountain – Homestay
Begin your journey with pickup from your hotel in Hanoi by a local limousine van 9-seats ( driver is not able to speak English, but you can ask tour operator for assist if you need any information on the trip from Hanoi to Cao Bang ) through the scenic northern countryside, passing rice fields, traditional villages, and dramatic limestone mountains.
Upon arrival in Cao Bang, meet your local English-speaking guide and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or homestay.
In the afternoon, explore a peaceful village near Angel Eye Mountain, where you can take a relaxing walk through a beautiful valley surrounded by unspoiled nature. Continue to visit Angel Eye Mountain, a unique limestone formation with a natural “eye” hole in the center, offering stunning panoramic views over the green landscape.
Travel along scenic routes within Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark, including roads near the Vietnam–China border, where you can enjoy fresh mountain air and breathtaking views.
Arrive at your homestay in a traditional village. Dinner is served at the homestay.

Day 2: Nguom Ngao Cave – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Ba Be National Park
After breakfast, visit Nguom Ngao Cave, famous for its impressive stalactites and fascinating natural rock formations.
Continue to the spectacular Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Take time to admire the cascading water, limestone cliffs, and peaceful surroundings.
Visit Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda for panoramic views over the waterfall and surrounding landscape.
After lunch, depart for Ba Be National Park (approx. 4–5 hours). The journey takes you through mountainous roads and rural villages, offering authentic views of local life.
Arrive in Ba Be, check in at your homestay, enjoy dinner, and relax.

Day 3: Ba Be Lake – Boat Trip – Return to Hanoi
After breakfast, explore Ba Be Lake, one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in Vietnam, surrounded by limestone mountains and lush forest.
Choose between:
A scenic boat trip (optional, not included), or
A trekking experience through Ba Be National Park
During the boat trip, visit highlights such as:
Puong Cave
Dau Dang Waterfall
An Ma Temple
After the activity, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Your guide will assist you with your departure as you travel back to Hanoi by local bus.
