From June to August, these impressive marine mammals leave Antarctica and pass close to the coast of Rio de Janeiro, more precisely near the Cagarras Islands archipelago, in search of warmer waters.

We will depart early in the morning to take advantage of the ideal viewing conditions with calm seas and little wind.
After leaving the Marina, we will sail towards the Cagarras Islands Natural Monument, MONA Cagarras, a protected marine life sanctuary off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, to watch the whales. We will sail around these incredible islands for approximately 2.5 hours

The boat departs from the Marina da Glória. It is the only marina in Rio de Janeiro.
The meeting point is in front of Pier A0, next to a security guardhouse and a "Triumph" motorcycle shop.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
