Tbilisi: Kazbegi Day Trip with Gergeti Trinity Church

Begin your journey with a visit to the Shiomghvime Monastery, a peaceful 6th-century monastic complex hidden in a dramatic limestone canyon near Mtskheta. Founded by one of the Assyrian Fathers, Saint Shio, the monastery blends perfectly into the rocky cliffs. Finally, visit the Gergeti Trinity Church, the crown jewel of the tour. Built in the 14th century at 2,170 meters above sea level, this iconic church stands alone on a hilltop with Mount Kazbek rising behind it.
