As you walk, keep an eye out for primates such as red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, vervet monkeys, and baboons. The wetland is home to over 200 bird species, including the Great Blue Turaco, Papyrus Gonolek, White-spotted Flufftail, Yellow-billed Barbet, and various sunbirds.
