Taj Mahal 5:30 AM – As the sun gradually peeks over the horizon, we find ourselves at the entrance of the iconic Taj Mahal, an architectural masterpiece honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ethereal wonder, constructed from pristine white marble, stands as a testament to eternal love. Be enchanted by its resplendent beauty as the morning sunlight imparts a golden hue upon its intricate features. Breakfast 8:00 AM – Following our encounter with the Taj Mahal's magnificence, we invite you to indulge in a delectable breakfast at a luxurious five-star establishment. Relish a spread that includes a blend of both Indian and international cuisines, recharging your energy for the adventures that lie ahead.
Agra Fort 9:00 AM – Our journey continues with a visit to the imposing Agra Fort, yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This colossal red sandstone fort encloses the Mughal empire's imperial city within its formidable 2.5-kilometer-long walls. Inside, you'll discover a wealth of fairy-tale palaces, including the Jahangir Mahal and the Khas Mahal, masterpieces constructed by the visionary Shah Jahan.
City Tour (Optional) 10:00 AM – The remainder of your time in Agra offers the opportunity for souvenir shopping, should you wish to acquire some local handicrafts and intricately designed embroidery (at your own expense). Wander through the vibrant streets and perhaps delight a delightful lunch at one of the 5 star hotel.
Tomb of Itimaduddaulah 11:00 AM – The Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, a Mughal mausoleum located in Agra, beckons next. This tomb honors Itimad ud Daulah (Mirza Ghiyas-ud-Din or Ghiyas Beg), the father of the illustrious Nur Jahan, the Mughal empress and Jahangir's wife. Nur Jahan, deeply devoted to her father, erected this mausoleum as a tribute after his passing. Back to Delhi 12:00 PM – With our visit to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, exploration of the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, and a satisfying lunch behind us, our journey back to Delhi commences. You'll be transported in the comfort of a private, air-conditioned vehicle via the Yamuna Expressway. Upon reaching Delhi, our helpful assistant (driver) will drop you off at your hotel, the airport, or any other location of your preference.
