Pleas Note: Tourists can view the Taj Mahal from a distance of 500 m, from a nearby red sandstone platform. Tourists are permitted with their Mobiles, still camera and binoculars. In this moonlight visit, a video camera will not be allowed.

Night viewing of Taj Mahal has been allowed from 28th November, 2004 for five nights in a month including the Full Moon night and two days before and two days after except Fridays and month of Ramadan as per the order of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. The night viewing of Taj Mahal is opened from 8-30 p.m. to 12-30 a.m. in eight batches of 50 persons for half an hour duration (30 minutes). The total number of visitors is restricted to 400 each night.

The visitors of the night viewing of Taj Mahal have to report at Shilpgram complex half an hour in advance of the viewing time. The entry is allowed from the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal only. The visitors have to keep their luggage at the Cloakroom free of cost.

Moonlight visit of Taj is not allowed on Fridays and during the month of Ramadan.
Tickets of Moonlight Taj can only be purchased 24 hours in advance.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
