Early morning around 6:15 am, your chauffeur will pick you up from your Bangalore hotel. Upon arrival in Mysore meet and greet with your local guide. Mysore is known as the city of palaces. After lunch drive to Chamundeshwari Temple. It is located on the top of Chamundi Hills about 13 km from the palace city of Mysore. The temple has a seven storey tall Gopura decorated with intricate carvings. The deity of the goddess is said to be made of gold and the temple doors of silver. The temple was named after Chamundeshwari or Durga, the fierce form of Shakti, a tutelary deity held in reverence for centuries by Mysore Maharajas. After this visit, go back to Mysore and do not forget to see the Mysore city view from Chamundi Hill. While going back to Bangalore en route Visit Philomena's church. The St. Philomena’s Cathedral is located on the Ashoka road Mysore Is an Roman Catholic church and is the most imposing and attractive structure. After this visit you will be driven back to Bangalore.
