Day 1: New Delhi to Agra
Arrive at New Delhi airport or railway station and transfer to Agra by road. Check into your hotel. En route, visit Sikandara, the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar.
Continue to the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Visit the Agra Fort, containing the Royal residential palaces, the Halls of Public and Private Audience, and beautiful gardens. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Agra to Jaipur
This morning, proceed to the Pink City of Jaipur. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar, and Chand Baori Step Well, a massive, ornate stepwell from the 8th and 9th centuries. On arrival at Jaipur, check into your hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Jaipur
After breakfast, visit the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amber Fort. Enjoy a photo stop at Hawa Mahal, the palace of wind. Later, visit the City Palace and the apartment housing museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons, and paintings. Finally, visit Jantar-Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II. In the evening, enjoy a sound and light show at Amber Fort. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Jaipur to New Delhi
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Drive to Delhi and transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
