About Munnar Hill Station
Munnar Hill Station is one of the most enchanting destinations in Kerala, located at about 1,600 meters above sea level in the Western Ghats. Often called the “Kashmir of South India,” Munnar is renowned for its cool climate, mist-covered hills, and endless stretches of lush tea plantations.
The town was once a summer retreat for the British during the colonial era, and its legacy can still be seen in the old bungalows and estates. The region is carpeted with rolling tea gardens, cardamom estates, waterfalls, and dense forests, making it a paradise for nature lovers and honeymooners.
Day 01: Kochi – Munnar (Approx. 130 km / 04 hrs.)
Morning pick-up from Kochi and scenic drive to Munnar through lush green valleys, waterfalls, and spice plantations.
En route visit:
Cheeyappara & Valara Waterfalls
Karadippara Viewpoint for panoramic landscapes
Arrive in Munnar and check into your hotel/resort.
Afternoon Proceed for Half Day Munnar Sightseeing ,of major attractions:
Mattupetty Dam & Lake (boating option available)
Echo Point – known for its natural echo phenomenon
Kundala Lake – serene picnic spot with pedal boating

Day 02: Munnar Nature Walk – Return to Kochi
Early morning, proceed for a guided Nature Walk in the hills of Munnar (such as Letchmi Hills or nearby plantations).
Enjoy a refreshing walk through tea gardens, shola forests, and grasslands.
Spot local bird species, butterflies, and enjoy panoramic sunrise views.

We start the trek through the tea plantations, once we are over the hill the rest of our couple of hours of trek will be on the ridge, which offers beautiful views around.
It spreads across grasslands, rocky mountain slopes on one side, tea plantations and patches of Shola forest on the other side. On a clear day we could see Anaimudi (2695 mts above MSL), the highest peak in the Western Ghats and South India.
