From New Delhi: 5-Day Golden Triangle Trip with Ranthambore

Begin Day 1 in Delhi with pickup at your hotel or airport and take a half-day sightseeing tour. Stop in Lutyens Delhi, then visit the war memorial at India Gate before walking past the Secretariat, Presidential Palace, and parliamentary buildings.

Next, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Humayun’s Tomb — the earliest example of Mughal architecture in the city — and Qutub Minar. Marvel at the Baha’i Lotus Temple before driving to Agra and staying overnight in a hotel.

On Day 2, wake up bright and early to marvel at sunrise over the Taj Mahal, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend some time admiring and exploring perhaps the most famous monument to live in the world before returning to your hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, tick off another UNESCO World Heritage Site with a visit to Agra Fort. Once you’ve explored this red sandstone fort, proceed to Ranthambore National Park and check in at your hotel for the night.

Wake up early again on Day 3 to explore the tiger reserve of Ranthambore. Take a 3-4 hour safari drive in search of tigers and other wildlife before having breakfast at the hotel. Check out afterward and depart for Jaipur, India’s “Pink City,” where you’ll stay overnight.

Day 4 begins with a trek to the hillside entrance of Amber Fort. Then, admire the Maharaja City Palace — a 7-story royal palace — and the Jantar Mantar, a stone-built observatory that has drawn astronomers and mathematicians from all over the world.

Later, stop to take pictures of the exquisite buildings of Hawa Mahal, yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site on this tour. Later, spend a second night in Jaipur.

On the final day, grab breakfast in the hotel before driving back to Delhi. Upon arrival, get dropped off wherever you like in Delhi, Noida, or Gurgaon.
