Following your visit to the Accademia, your guide will take you to marvel at the exterior of the Duomo, also known as Santa Maria Del Fiore. This iconic landmark, with its epic Gothic architecture, and iconic red dome not only makes for perfect snapshots, but also plays a crucial part in Fiorentine history.
** Onwards to discovering where Italy's great poet Dante grew up, a childhood an area known these days as Dante's district. You'll also see the little church of Santa Margherita. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• The sites marked as 'optional' are only visited externally during the full-day walking tour, not on the half-day tour.
• On the first Sunday of each month, entrance is free of charge, but as tickets can't be reserved ahead of time, entry is not guaranteed
• Avoid bringing large bags. The Uffizi and Accademia require you to check them in
• The Uffizi does not allow visitors to bring liquids inside the museum, so do not bring water bottles. Baby bottles or medicine liquids are acceptable
• We will be subject to a security check at the entrance to all sites. Depending on the volume of visitors, we may have a short wait in the security line.
Meet your friendly guide in Piazza Santissima Annunziata in front of the statue of Ferdinando dei Medici on a horse. A representative from the local partner will be there to meet you holding a sign.
After the lunch break, the second part of the tour will start from Piazza della Signoria, by the equestrian statue of Cosimo de' Medici. Please check the start time of the afternoon part with our staff on the day, and arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the beginning of the tour.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
