Description

Discover the hidden gems of western Kyoto on an e-bike tour. Visit the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Kinkaku-ji, and Ryoanji’s Zen rock garden with a knowledgable and fun guide leading the way.
Begin your scenic ride through the calmer side of Kyoto, offering a peaceful mix of historic temples, lively shrines, and quiet backstreets. From the spiritual to the scenic, this tour gives you the full Kyoto experience—on two wheels and without the crowds.

Start with a ride through the city across to the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, where you can take in the natural beauty of this special place as well as the surrounding area.

Next, visit Ryoanji, with its world-famous Zen rock garden that somehow says more with silence than words ever could. Then it’s time for the crown jewel—Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, one of the most iconic (and photogenic) temples in Japan. The shimmering gold leaf, mirrored perfectly in the still pond below, is a true “wow” moment.

Between each landmark, cruise along quiet, leafy streets—perfect for soaking in the local atmosphere.
