Meet your host at Nagoya Station and head to the cooking studio, just a short walk away. Begin with an introduction to the class and the recipes you’ll be making. Sample popular seasonings and dashi from Aichi Prefecture, made using traditional methods.

Learn about Japanese table manners and culture before rolling up your sleeves to cook. Prepare 5 seasonal dishes, including miso soup, rolled omelet, a main dish of chicken or fish, rice, and wagashi (Japanese sweets).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The cooking class is conducted in a studio located 15 minutes by train from Nagoya station and 20 minutes on foot from Nagoya Castle.
Participants will learn to cook 5 traditional Japanese dishes including miso soup, dashimaki tamago, a main dish of chicken or fish, rice, and wagashi.
The class is led by Yuka, an experienced Japanese cuisine expert and licensed nutritionist.
Participants will have the opportunity to taste locally made Aichi condiments and dashi.
A recipe booklet is provided to recreate the dishes at home.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
