Your day begins with pickup from your accommodation in Sarajevo. Relax during the scenic drive through the mountains of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Tara-Raft, our riverside rafting base near Foča.
On arrival, meet your professional rafting guides and receive all the equipment you need for the river. After a safety briefing, travel to the rafting starting point at Brštanovica and begin a 20 km descent through the most exciting section of the Tara River.
Paddle through more than 30 rapids surrounded by steep canyon walls, forests, waterfalls and crystal-clear water. This is an active rafting experience: you are part of the crew, paddling together with your guide and experiencing the river up close. Depending on river conditions, there will also be opportunities to swim, enjoy the waterfalls and stop for a snack and refreshment along the way.
A safety kayaker accompanies the rafting trip, while photos and GoPro footage help capture the experience.
After approximately 15 km on the Tara, reach the confluence of the Tara and Piva rivers, where they form the Drina. Continue for another 5 km before arriving back at Tara-Raft.
Change into dry clothes, relax at the resort and enjoy a freshly prepared traditional lunch after your adventure. During the warmer season, you can also unwind by the swimming pool before departure.
In the afternoon, your driver will take you back to Sarajevo and drop you off at your accommodation.
No rental car, bus connections or complicated planning are needed — just book the experience and we take care of the entire day from Sarajevo to the Tara River and back.

This activity requires a minimum of 4 participants to operate. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be offered an alternative date or receive a full refund. The rafting section and duration may vary depending on water levels and weather conditions. No previous rafting experience is required. All necessary rafting equipment and a safety briefing are provided. Please bring swimwear, a towel, and dry clothes for after the rafting trip.

Si lo cancela después de 24 horas o no se presenta en la excursión, se le cobrará el precio total de la actividad. El retraso en la recogida o en la salida se considerará como no presentarse.
