Join a half-day walking tour to experience the diverse architectural styles along the Bund in Shanghai. Follow a knowledgeable guide to deeply learn about the history behind it.
Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at the appointed time and take the public transport to the bund.

Our tour will start from Shanghai People's Heroes Memorial Tower. Go across the road to visit the Peace Hotel, which is a historic and luxurious hotel renowned for its rich history and exquisite Art Deco architecture.

Then we will walk to visit the iconic structures of The Former HSBC Building, and Shanghai Customs House that is renowned for its neoclassical architectural style and iconic clock tower, which resembles London's Big Ben.

Pass through the Asia Building in Shanghai, which was one of the earliest steel-framed buildings in China. We will reach the Shanghai Signal Tower, also known as the Bund Weather Tower, is a historic maritime signal tower. We will have a break here and enjoy a leisure time with a cup of coffee (at your own expense).

After that, we will take the ferry to Shanghai Tower on the other side. Shanghai Tower, soaring to a height of 632 meters in the Lujiazui financial district of Pudong, is the tallest building in China. We can get a sky view of Shanghai architectural complex.

During the walk, the city master will discuss the history of the Shanghai city during the concession era and its impact on modern Shanghai. You will learn why Art Deco was so popular in Shanghai in the 1930s, and how to identify an Art Deco building. You will walk into several Art Deco buildings to see the stylish interior designs.
