Discover the Sticky Waterfalls on a guided tour from Chiang Mai. Climb the falls, visit a sacred spring, explore Bua Tong Cave, and enjoy an authentic Thai lunch in a local village.
Begin your morning with hotel pick-up, then enjoy a scenic 45-minute drive to a local coffee shop. Take a short break to grab a coffee while we provide you with water shoes and a waterproof dry bag to keep your phone and valuables protected. From there, it’s just another 15-minute drive to the famous Sticky Waterfalls, where your adventure begins.
Spend approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes exploring and climbing the Sticky Waterfalls. Unlike ordinary waterfalls, the mineral-rich limestone creates a naturally grippy surface, allowing you to climb directly up the cascading water.
Afterward, visit the sacred spring that feeds the falls, where your guide shares fascinating stories about the area's spiritual significance and the respected spirit house. Continue on a short hike to Bua Tong Cave, spending about 20 minutes learning about the cave's history and local legends.
After the experience, head to the Sufficiency Economy Village (2021) and Community Development Learning Center for a delicious, authentic Thai lunch.
After lunch, stroll through the rice fields (when the rice is in season) and discover local agriculture. Afterward, we’ll drive back to Chiang Mai Old Town, with drop-off at your hotel scheduled for no later than 3:00 PM.

Children aged 3+ are welcome to join the experience. Please note that climbing the Sticky Waterfalls involves walking on uneven, wet limestone surfaces, so children should be comfortable walking and accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
