Start your day at 9:00 AM from Chachapoyas and travel by tourist transportation to the community closest to Gocta Waterfall. From there, begin a scenic hike through the lush high-jungle forest toward one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Chachapoyas region.

As you walk along the trail, enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and dense vegetation characteristic of the cloud forest. Keep an eye out for local wildlife and birds that inhabit the area, including hummingbirds, the Andean cock-of-the-rock, and the yellow-tailed woolly monkey. The trail offers a chance to experience the natural environment at a relaxed pace while learning about the landscape and local surroundings from your guide.

The round-trip hike takes approximately 4 hours, depending on the pace of the group and trail conditions. After reaching Gocta Waterfall, take time to appreciate the scenery and capture photos of the waterfall and its natural surroundings before beginning the return walk.

Once back in the nearby community, enjoy lunch before boarding the transportation back to Chachapoyas. The tour ends in the city, allowing you to continue your plans or stay overnight.
