Known as the "City of a Thousand Windows" due to its unique Ottoman-era houses seemingly stacked upon each other on the hillside, Berat will immediately charm you.

Upon arrival, we'll delve into its fascinating history:

Berat Castle: Ascend to the magnificent Berat Castle, a living fortress that has been continuously inhabited for over 2,500 years. Inside its ancient walls, you'll discover a labyrinth of narrow streets, Byzantine churches, Ottoman mosques, and charming houses.
Mangalem & Gorica Quarters: Descend into the picturesque lower town, exploring the historic Mangalem and Gorica neighborhoods. Admire the iconic white houses with their numerous windows overlooking the Osumi River. Cross the elegant Gorica Bridge, an architectural marvel connecting the two districts, offering postcard-perfect views of the city.
