1. 11:00 Meet your dedicated private English-speaking guide at your pre-agreed meeting point near Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station. Please arrive on time and keep your guide updated should you encounter any delays.
2. 11:00–12:00 **Guided sightseeing of Tianmen Mountain viewing platform**
Your local guide will share fascinating legends and geological stories of Tianmen Mountain, known as “Heaven’s Gate Mountain”. Admire panoramic views of the huge natural karst cave, the world’s longest alpine cableway and the famous 99-bend Tongtian Avenue. Capture iconic photos of this iconic Zhangjiajie landmark without rushing through the full mountain hike.
3. 12:00–13:00 **Guided walking tour around Dayong Ancient Town**
Stroll through the old town streets of ancient Dayong, the original name of Zhangjiajie. Listen to stories of local Tujia minority history, old river port culture, browse small craft shops and learn about local life. Your guide will introduce typical Xiangxi snacks such as cured pork, rice tofu and kudzu jelly.
4. 13:00–13:50 **Guided visit to 72 Wonder Buildings (Qishiqilou) exterior & riverside area**
Marvel at the towering multi-story Tujia stilt-house complex, a stunning architectural landmark. Hear about Tujia wooden building traditions, no-nail mortise-and-tenon craftsmanship. Enjoy great photo opportunities of the fantasy-style stilt buildings.
5. 14:00 Tour concludes near 72 Wonder Buildings. The full guided activity comes to an end at this location. Please note that no further transfer or drop-off service is provided after the tour finishes.
