With guidance from your host, try operating the handloom and take part in the weaving process yourself. Follow the basic techniques at your own pace and create a small woven sample, experiencing the care and concentration behind every row of fabric.

No previous weaving experience is necessary. This workshop offers a personal introduction to Nepali textile heritage, giving you the opportunity to learn a traditional skill, connect with a local craftsperson, and appreciate the handmade work behind Dhaka fabric.
