Quba is a city in Azerbaijan, 168 km north-west of Baku. It is located on the northeastern slopes of Shahdag Mountain, at an altitude of 600 m above sea level, on the banks of the Kudial-chay River. The Sakina-Khanum Mosque was built of red brick and looks like a faceted cylinder. Each face has a semicircular arch window. The top of the facade is surrounded by original eaves made of small bricks. From above, this stately building is crowned with a large white metal dome in the shape of a multi-faceted helmet. Chukhur hamam is a bathhouse. The hamam is unique due to its beehive-shaped brick dome. During his stay in Quba, Alexandre Dumas bathed in this bath.Quba is also one of the centers of carpet weaving. We will be able to visit a factory where famous Azerbaijani carpets are woven by hand. Then we will walk along the Gudialchay bridge - this is the only remaining bridge that existed in the Guba district in the 17th-19th centuries. The bridge was built in 1894 according to the project of Alexander III. On this bridge we will get to the Caucasus Jerusalem - the village of Krasnaya Sloboda, where from the middle of the 5th century. Mountain Jews live.
