During an urban creative safari, we’ll hunt the “big five” creative‑thinking principles. Camera in hand, we’ll roam the streets, spotting expressions of creativity and serendipitous discoveries.
We meet in the workshop space at Galerie Frits, a unique place filled with fantastic art prints by both local and international artists.
After a brief introduction to recognise the “big five” principles of creative thinking, we set off together through the old town and along the quayside walls of the Scheldt.
In front of the cathedral, we stop briefly at the statue of Nello and Patrache, the world-famous story of the boy and the dog. Only a blanket of cobblestones keeps them warm. We continue our search for less obvious expressions of creativity.
Be sure to bring a camera or your smartphone to capture your creative discoveries. Creativity can be found in small corners. Sometimes intentional, but often as an unintended coincidence.
We also walk along the less trodden paths, giving you a glimpse of real life in Antwerp's city centre. After 2.5 hours, we return to the gallery where we can look back and view and/or share photos.
