Explore Zhujiajiao Water Town, the "Venice" of Shanghai, visit Tianzifang to explore Chinese specialty products, and overlook Shanghai at night in the super high-rise sightseeing Hall of Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China.
Start your day with a visit to Zhujiajiao Water Town, the best-preserved Jiangnan water town in Shanghai. Built along the river, the ancient houses of Ming and Qing dynasties, stone alleys, and arch bridges complement each other with flowing water.
Visit the Free Life Bridge, Shanghai's longest and highest five-hole stone arch bridge. Explore the narrow alley on both sides of North Street, densely covered with traditional snack shops. Take a sculling boat through the Caogang River and feel the mood of "the boat is walking in the river, people are painting in the middle".
Next, head to Tianzifang, a maze of alleys transformed from an old Shanghai alley. Home to more than 200 creative shops, galleries, cafes, and artisanal workshops, explore the Art Studio, such as the former site of Chen Yifei Studio (now an exhibition space), displaying Shanghai culture.
