Tbilisi: 4-Day Georgia and Armenia Tour with Guide

Explore Georgia and Armenia on a 4-day tour from Tbilisi. Discover the Georgian Military Road, visit Mtskheta, and explore the Kakheti wine region.
Day 1: Kazbegi & the Georgian Military Road
Travel along the famous Georgian Military Road, one of the most scenic routes in the Caucasus. Visit Ananuri Fortress overlooking the Zhinvali Reservoir. Stop for photos at panoramic viewpoints and at Gudauri mountain resort.

Continue to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) and Gergeti Trinity Church with breathtaking views of Mount Kazbek. Return to Tbilisi in the evening.

Day 2: Armenia Day Trip
Embark on a full-day cross-border journey to Armenia. Visit the UNESCO monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin. Enjoy a scenic drive through Alaverdi Gorge and stop in Dilijan, known as “Armenian Switzerland.”

See Lake Sevan, one of the highest alpine lakes in the world, and Sevanavank Monastery. End your day at Republic Square in Yerevan before returning to Tbilisi.

Day 3: Mtskheta: The Spiritual Heart of Georgia
Spend a relaxed cultural day near Tbilisi. Visit Jvari Monastery with views over the confluence of rivers. Explore Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia (UNESCO), and Samtavro Monastery. Enjoy free time for walking and photos before returning to Tbilisi.

Day 4: Kakheti Wine Region
Discover eastern Georgia and its wine traditions. Visit Bodbe Monastery, connected to Saint Nino. Explore Sighnaghi, the “City of Love,” with views over the Alazani Valley. End your day in Telavi, the historic center of Kakheti, before returning to Tbilisi.
