Embark on a 50-kilometer journey through deep canyons, karst caves, and pristine forests. Tackle adrenaline-pumping rapids (Class III-IV) and serene flat sections. Enjoy a unique low-angle perspective of towering quartz-sandstone pillars, lush greenery, and waterfalls from the water’s surface, creating a moving landscape painting often called the “50-Mile Waterfront Gallery.”
The river ecosystem is part of the Zhangjiajie Global Geopark. Keep an eye out for rare birds, butterflies, and even monkeys along the shores. Pass by ancient Tujia villages and hear stories of local legends. During certain seasons, cultural performances may be held at the finishing area.
