Duración:

Descripción
We’ll walk through La Paz after dark, stopping at hidden local spots to taste grilled anticuchos, drink warm purple corn api, and finish with a traditional té con té. Simple, cozy, and full of stories
It’s a cultural food walk where you’ll experience what real locals do when the city winds down.
We begin at the gates of San Pedro prison, one of the most notorious — and unique — jails in the world. From there, we’ll walk through buzzing streets, where we will have:
SWEET BEGINNING – API & PASTEL
We’ll kick things off with a cozy Bolivian classic: a warm glass of api morado (purple corn drink) paired with a freshly fried cheese empanada.
We’ll share the story behind this ancient Andean recipe — and why locals still crave it after dark.
BOLD FLAVORS – ANTICUCHO STOP
Next, we dive into bold flavors with anticuchos — beef heart skewers grilled over open flames, marinated in local spices, and served with potatoes and spicy peanut sauce.
This iconic Bolivian street food will challenge your palate in the best way.
STRONG FINISH – TÉ CON TÉ
We end the evening like true paceños — with a cup of té con té, a herbal tea spiked with singani, Bolivia’s national spirit.
It’s how locals warm up, relax, and share laughs after a long day.
Along the way, we don’t just feed your stomach — we share the stories behind each bite. You’ll learn why certain dishes exist, who cooks them, and how food reflects Bolivian identity. This tour is designed not just to taste flavors, but to feel them.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This is not a full dinner — it’s more of a flavorful street food journey, with small bites that locals enjoy at night.
We recommend having a light dinner before the tour, especially if you have a big appetite.
We do not have formal partnerships with the vendors. Each spot is selected for its flavor, authenticity, and local vibe.
