Then, head to the Train Cemetery, where you can see the rusty remains of old locomotives. Continue to the town of Colchani, where you can learn about the salt extraction process and see local crafts.
Next, visit the Ojos del Salar, natural springs that bubble up from the ground. Stop at the Dakar Monument and the Flag Station, where you can see flags from all over the world.
Venture into the vast Salar de Uyuni and stop at the Salt Hotel. Enjoy a picturesque picnic lunch surrounded by endless white landscapes. Continue to Incahuasi Island, a rocky oasis with giant cacti and panoramic views.
In the evening, watch a stunning sunset as the salt flat turns into a giant natural mirror. After sunset, stay to enjoy stargazing and admire the Milky Way under one of the clearest skies on the planet.
