Sarajevo: Guided E-Bike Tour to Pale via Ćiro Trail

Explore the historic Ćiro Trail on a guided e-bike tour from Sarajevo. Ride through the city, nature, and mountains, and enjoy a break in Pale.
Begin your tour at the Meet Bosnia Tours office in the heart of Sarajevo's Old Town. Meet your guide, receive a short safety briefing, and get familiar with your e-bike and equipment before setting off.

Start your ride from Baščaršija, one of the most historic parts of Sarajevo. Cycle from the cultural center of the city directly toward the natural surroundings east of Sarajevo.

After leaving the Old Town area, continue toward the eastern side of the city and connect with the Sarajevo Ćiro Trail. This part of the ride slowly moves away from traffic and into a more peaceful cycling environment.

Follow the old Ćiro railway route, once part of the narrow-gauge railway connection toward eastern Bosnia. Today, this area is one of the most interesting cycling routes near Sarajevo. It offers a nice mix of history, local life, nature, and easy riding sections.

Continue toward Pale through a combination of local roads, unpaved sections, paths, and natural surroundings. The ride gradually climbs, but the electric bikes make the route much easier and more comfortable.

After reaching Pale, take a short break. Rest, take photos, enjoy the mountain-town atmosphere, and prepare for the return ride.

After the break, return to Sarajevo. The way back is generally more relaxed, with nice downhill sections and beautiful views along the route. Finish your tour at the same place where it started, the Meet Bosnia Tours office in Baščaršija.
