Day 1: Phnom Penh to Battambang with English speaking driver.
Begin your journey with a stop at Oudong Mountain, the former royal capital. Explore the holy temple stupas and take in panoramic views over the plains. Next, visit a pottery community in Kampong Chhnang and watch local families produce clay pots by hand, learning about traditional techniques passed down through generations.
After lunch at a local restaurant, take a boat ride on the lower stretch of the Tonlé Sap to see life on the water, including floating houses, schools, and riverside market areas. In the evening, arrive in Battambang for an overnight stay near the Sangker River. Enjoy free time to relax and take in the riverside views.
Day 2: Battambang to Siem Reap with English Speaking driver,
Start your day with a ride on Battambang’s famous bamboo train through scenic rice fields. Then, visit a village with family-run producers to learn about traditional snacks and crafts, such as rice paper or other local treats. which help translate in your luggage.
Explore the area around Wat Samrong Knong, a site with historical significance. After lunch, climb up Phnom Sampeau for breathtaking views and visit the memorial caves and golden tower at the Buddhist temple. Continue to the hilltop panorama and, if timing allows, experience the unforgettable moment when millions of bats fly out at dusk.
End your journey with an evening road transfer to Siem Reap, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

The tour includes some easy walking and mild climbing. We recommend wearing comfortable, supportive shoes with good grip—especially for the walk up to Oudong Mountain and Sampouv Mountain (both have soft terrain but require stable footing).
Please also be mindful of changing weather: during rainy conditions, paths can become slippery and you may need to move more carefully. The schedule may be tight, and local events or festivals can make areas busier than usual.
