When we hike in Cape Verde, the four islands that really stand out are Fogo, Santiago, São Vicente, and Santo Antão. The amazing views and heavenly spots in Cape Verde are always with us on our tours. Surrounded by banana trees, cornfields, sugarcane, and coffee plantations, the amazing trails wind through the islands, with their mountain ranges and volcanic landscapes. The archipelago is about 1,500 km from the Canary Islands, off the east coast of Africa. A living example of the African continent is sent to all the worlds. You can't escape the rhythm in the streets of the port city of Mindelo, in São Vicente, where singers and artists play music until late at night. Santo Antão is the green paradise for hiking in the Cape Verde Islands. Fogo's got the highest peak, Pico do Fogo, and Santiago is the most African of all the islands.
