Guilin: 3-Day Yangshuo Tour with Li River Cruise

Day 1: Discover Guilin

Begin your journey with a pickup from the airport or train station. Head to your hotel and check in. In the morning, take a shuttle to the Longji Rice Terraces. Marvel at the terraced fields that stretch up to the sky, shrouded in mist.

In the afternoon, visit the Huangluo Yao Village, known for its long-haired Yao women. Immerse yourself in the rich ethnic culture with traditional songs and dances. As the sun sets, head to the Golden Buddha Peak Observation Deck for panoramic views of the terraces bathed in golden light.

If you arrive early, take a stroll through the ancient streets of Dongxi Lane. Visit the Xiaoyao Tower for a view of the Li River and explore the Jingjiang Princes’ City. Spend the night at a 4-star hotel in Guilin.

Day 2: Cruise the Li River

In the morning, take a 4-star cruise down the Li River from Caoping to Yangdi. Admire the picturesque landscapes, including the famous Nine Horses Fresco Hill and Yellow Cloth Reflection.

In the afternoon, arrive at Shangdu, a pastoral paradise surrounded by mulberry and bamboo. Explore the ancient streets of Xingping Ancient Town, where time seems to stand still. In the evening, arrive in Yangshuo and stroll along West Street, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Enjoy a dinner of beer fish, a local specialty, before checking into a 4-star hotel in Yangshuo.

Day 3: Explore Yangshuo

In the morning, visit a local ethnic village, where villagers in traditional costumes welcome you with open arms. Experience the rich culture and traditions of the ethnic minorities through performances and interactions.

In the afternoon, head to the Silver Cave, a stunning karst cave filled with stalactites and stalagmites. Admire the crystal-like formations illuminated by colorful lights. Later, take a bamboo raft down the Yulong River, surrounded by idyllic countryside scenery. Return to Guilin in the evening, bringing your unforgettable journey to a close.
