Begin your day with a visit to the Hwadam Forest. Ride the monorail and make stops at each point to take pictures of the colors and smells of Hwadam. The forest is a unique space where only a limited number of people can enter each day, and advance reservation is required from the garden.
Continue to Namhansanseong, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Explore the fortress, which was built in the early 17th century and is a representative fortress site of the Joseon Dynasty that demonstrates the peak of modern military architecture.
Admire the 6.2km fortress wall, valleys, peaks, forests, and a zoo, among other tourist attractions. There are 48 observation towers and 4 gates within the fortress wall, designed to allow for views of each other. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the colorful forest and a bird's-eye view of Seoul.
