With SILVERS, you're invited into a private Copenhagen home to share a homemade meal and conversation with a local host from the senior generation.

A Silver is someone with more than 60 years of experience and a story to share. Our Silver hosts include artists, architects, entrepreneurs, musicians and storytellers, each offering a unique perspective on Copenhagen and the lives they've built here.

You might meet Mikael, an urban designer who has worked in more than 100 cities around the world, or Mette, a writer and self-described "world citizen with Danish blood in her veins", or Elisabeth, a Christiania local who has lived in the community since the 70s. Every Silver opens both their home and their world to guests.

We host weekly gatherings. Join us for dinner on a Thursday evening (18:00–20:00) or lunch on a Sunday (12:00–14:00).

Over a homemade meal, your host shares stories from their life while guests are invited into the conversation. The atmosphere is relaxed, informal and welcoming. There are no presentations or lectures, just genuine conversation around a shared table.

At the table you'll find a small group of guests from different countries, generations and backgrounds. Some are travellers looking for a more authentic experience of Copenhagen. Others are locals curious to meet new people and hear a different perspective.

This is not a restaurant, a tour or a performance. It's an invitation into someone's home and a chance to experience the city through the people who live here.

More than 750 guests have joined a SILVERS experience, discovering that some of the most memorable travel experiences happen not at famous attractions, but around a dining table.

Your host and the exact address will be confirmed 48 hours before the event.
