Whether it’s your first time on a horse or you already have riding experience, our trained guides adjust the pace and group according to ability. Beginners enjoy a relaxed introduction, while confident riders can experience the unique smooth gait of the Icelandic horse, the tölt.

Children from 7 years old are welcome. For safety and comfort, we recommend that children under 12 ride in the slower group unless they are experienced.

After 1.5–2 hours in the saddle, return to the stables for complimentary coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Take time to ask questions and learn more about this unique Icelandic breed before returning to Reykjavik.
