Starting at the award-winning Dokk1 waterfront, we'll explore how a former industrial harbor became one of Denmark's most vibrant public spaces before making our way into the city's historic heart. Wander through streets that have preserved their medieval layout for centuries, admire the impressive Aarhus Cathedral, stroll through the charming Latin Quarter, visit the Church of Our Lady with its remarkable crypt, and discover the picturesque Møllestien.

Along the way, you'll discover how a Viking settlement grew into Denmark's second-largest city. We'll talk about Viking warriors and merchants, medieval life, the Reformation, and the people and events that shaped Aarhus through the centuries. You'll also gain insight into Danish culture, local traditions, and what makes everyday life in Denmark unique.
