Your adventure kicks off with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation or cruise port in Puerto Plata. We'll travel to the picturesque fishing village of Punta Rucia, where we'll take a speedboat to cross the turquoise waters of the Atlantic to Cayo Arena, also known as Paradise Island.
This white sand islet surrounded by coral reefs is the perfect place for snorkeling; you'll be amazed by the amount of colorful tropical fish that will surround you. You'll have free time to relax and sunbathe in this unique setting in the middle of the sea.
On the way back, we'll sail through Monte Cristi National Park to explore its impressive mangrove forests, a natural sanctuary of biodiversity. To end the day, we'll enjoy a traditional Dominican buffet lunch on the beach in Punta Rucia before heading back to Puerto Plata.
