Begin your journey with pickup from Muscat and enjoy a scenic drive along Oman’s spectacular east coast toward Wadi Shab. Upon arrival, take a short boat ride across the water to reach the start of the hiking trail.
Hike for approximately 40 minutes through the dramatic canyon, surrounded by rocky mountains, palm trees, and turquoise natural pools. Once you reach the swimming area, cool off in the clear water and swim deeper into the wadi toward the famous hidden cave. The Wadi Shab experience includes hiking over uneven and rocky terrain, followed by swimming for those who wish to reach the hidden cave and waterfall.
Guests should be comfortable with moderate physical activity. Swimming is optional, and guests who prefer not to swim can still enjoy the hike and natural pools.
Water shoes, waterproof phone cases, and waterproof bags are available at the Wadi Shab entrance at an additional cost. Life jackets are available for rent.
