Start your trip early in the morning, departing for the historic town of Besalú, which is about an hour and a half from Barcelona. Besalú is known for its well-preserved medieval ensemble, as well as its impressive fortified bridge. We will visit the famous Besalú Bridge, a Romanesque architectural work that offers breathtaking views over the Fluvia River.

Next, we will immerse ourselves in Besalú's Jewish history with a visit to the Miqvé, 12th century Jewish baths, which are one of the few preserved structures of their kind in Europe. This place is not only a sample of medieval architecture, but also a testament to the town's rich Jewish heritage. Take the opportunity to explore the Call, or Jewish quarter, where you can appreciate the narrow streets that once bustled with life and commerce.

Later, around noon, we will head towards Peratallada, which is about 45 minutes from Besalú. Once there, enjoy a stroll through its cobbled streets and marvel at the stone facades that characterize this village. The Plaça de les Voltes is the heart of Peratallada, known for its well-preserved medieval center.

After lunch, we continue our journey to Pals, a small town located about 20 minutes from Peratallada. In Pals, you can stroll through the narrow streets that will transport you to another era. Be sure to visit the Torre de les Hores, an impressive viewpoint that offers panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Finally, at around 5:00 pm, your return to Barcelona begins, bringing to an end a day full of explorations and beautiful discoveries in three of Catalonia's most charming medieval villages.
