Depart from Chachapoyas and travel through the scenic Utcubamba Valley toward the province of Luya. Stop in the village of Lamud before continuing to Quiocta Cave, a spectacular underground world extending approximately 550 meters into the mountain.
Explore the cave with your guide while admiring impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and ancient archaeological remains left by the Chachapoya civilization during sacred and funerary rituals.
After returning to Lamud for lunch (not included), continue to the village of Cruzpata. From here, enjoy a scenic 2-kilometer hike to the remarkable Karajía Sarcophagi, or choose to hire a horse or mule locally.
