Your experience begins at the ranch, where you’ll meet your Wagon Master driver and a qualified naturalist guide. Settle into the covered wagon and head off-road into the canyons, with time to take in the changing desert light. Along the way, learn about the Colorado Sonoran Desert ecosystem—its flora, fauna, and wildlife—and discover how the region’s geology helps create these remarkable oasis environments.

You’ll also hear stories of the Cahuilla People and how they lived in this landscape, including traditional knowledge of desert plants and their many uses for survival. Depending on the conditions and group preference, short nature walks may be available for closer views and photos.

Back at the ranch, the evening continues with some of the best sunset views in the Coachella Valley, live western music, and relaxed ranch-time fun.
