Embark on an all-inclusive day trip to discover the wonderful Sancerre region with just your party and your private guide! Discover at least two renowned family wineries, explore their cellars and taste plenty of wines. Enjoy a premium lunch in a Michelin starred-restaurant with a wine and food pairing!
You'll start your day with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Paris. Our passionate guide and wine expert, who speaks perfect English, will lead you through the beautiful Sancerre region with a freshly baked croissant. Learn the history of this wine region on the way to your first visit. He'll be here to answer every query your might have !
From the moment you arrive, you'll be immersed in the world of Sancerre wine. Discover the three mythical terroirs for which Sancerre is famous: Les Calcaires, Les Terres Blanches and Les Silex. Thanks to the variety of these terroirs the wines produced are truly different from one another!
Continue your journey with a short drive through the vineyards. Stop and enjoy a glass of wine in front of a magnificent view (depending on the weather and timing). This is the perfect time to learn how the vines are growing and the various tasks involved in cultivating them.
Stop at a local restaurant for a true gastronomic lunch with fresh and local products! Paired with different wines from the region, you will discover the perfect pairing.
Then discover the last winery! The Sancerre region is very close to other famous French appellations such as AOC Pouilly-Fumé, AOC Menetou-Salon or AOC Côteaux-du-Giennois, so you may have the opportunity to taste one or more of these wines. By the end of this tour, you'll be a true wine expert!
After the last tasting, your guide will take you safely back to Paris, with a drop-off at your accommodation in Paris.
