The Arcen Castle Gardens in the picturesque village of Arcen, right on the German-Dutch border near Venlo, are among the most diverse flower and plant parks in Europe. Enjoy 32 hectares full of scents and colors, unique gardens, historic parks and a 17th-century castle!
The Arcen Castle Gardens are not just home to beautiful flora and fauna. The garden park is also a popular destination for families. Visit one of our events, explore our paths and routes through the park, and relax in our hospitality facilities. The castle gardens also offer numerous exciting experiences for children. They discover the park with a treasure hunt, show their skills on the adventure mini-golf course, play on the beach playground, and cross the pond on a real raft.

Children up to 3 years of age have free entry. No ticket is required for this.
Tickets are not valid from September 18 to 21, 2026, and for the evening event Enchanted Gardens.
There is a free guided tour of the gardens daily at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM, lasting approximately one hour. The guided tour is in Dutch and the number of participants is limited.
The Arcen Castle Gardens are accessible to people with disabilities as well as to users of wheelchairs, walkers, handcarts, and strollers.
Dogs are welcome in the park. The entry fee is €4 and is available at the ticket office. Please keep your dog on a short leash at all times. Arcen Castle itself is not accessible to dogs.
You can have your ticket scanned at the ticket office.
