Thessaloniki: Traditional Greek Dance Class with Wine

Experience Greek tradition in a dance studio while learning Syrtos, Kalamatianos and Baidouska. You will get a taste of Greek traditional dances as well as a taste of our wonderful local Greek wine!
This experience offers an authentic introduction to Greek traditional music and dance, created especially for travelers who want to connect with Greek culture in a fun and meaningful way.
We will meet in a comfortable and welcoming dance studio in the city center just five minutes from the White Tower suitable for all ages and fitness levels. The experience begins with a short introduction to Greek dance traditions and the important role dance plays in Greek celebrations, festivals, and everyday social life.
We will learn the dances step by step, starting with the easiest movements and gradually progressing to more challenging ones, allowing everyone to follow at their own pace without pressure.
The dances included in this experience are:
Syrtos
Kalamatianos
Baidouska
Each dance will be explained in a clear and simple way, focusing on rhythm, coordination, and enjoying the movement together. No previous dance experience is required, this experience is designed for complete beginners.
After practicing the steps, we will dance together to traditional Greek music, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere just like at a Greek festival or wedding.
To complete the experience, each participant will enjoy a glass of local wine, making the moment even more relaxed and social.
