Day 1: Tbilisi - Jinvali - Ananuri - Gergeti Trinity Church - Gveleti Waterfall - Dariali - Kazbegi
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Tbilisi towards the majestic Caucasus Mountains. The first stop is the stunning Jinvali Reservoir, known for its turquoise waters and spectacular views. Continue to the historic Ananuri Fortress Complex, one of Georgia’s most important medieval landmarks overlooking the reservoir.
Travel through the picturesque mountain landscapes of the Georgian Military Highway and arrive in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). Visit the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, located at 2,170 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views of Mount Kazbek (5,054 m).
Next, enjoy a walk to the beautiful Gveleti Waterfall, hidden among dramatic mountain cliffs. Continue towards the Georgia-Russia border and explore the impressive Dariali Monastery Complex, situated in the legendary Darial Gorge.
After a day filled with unforgettable sights, spend the night in Kazbegi and enjoy free time to explore the town at your own pace.
Day 2: Kazbegi - Juta Valley - Gudauri Panorama - Tbilisi
After breakfast, depart for the stunning mountain village of Juta, one of the highest permanently inhabited settlements in Georgia. Surrounded by towering peaks and alpine meadows, Juta is considered one of the most beautiful destinations in the Caucasus and a paradise for nature lovers and photographers.
Following your visit to Juta, begin the journey back toward Tbilisi. Along the way, stop at the famous Gudauri Panorama (Russia-Georgia Friendship Monument), where breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains provide the perfect opportunity for memorable photos.
Arrive back in Tbilisi in the evening with unforgettable memories of Georgia’s spectacular mountain region.
