A Gaushala is a refuge and sanctuary, home to cows that have been rescued, abandoned, or can no longer produce milk, often picked up directly from the street. Here, they're cared for for life.

You'll get an authentic local experience by witnessing this act of selfless service (Seva). Gaushalas, often run as donation-dependent nonprofits, provide cows with:
- Safe food
- Vet care
- A safe place to live in peace.

You'll get to feed the cows, connecting with this deep cultural and spiritual meaning: the cow is a sacred symbol of life and abundance in India. You'll also get to understand their triple role (social, ecological, and spiritual), as some of these shelters also make sustainable products like natural fertilizers or ghee (clarified butter).

After this enriching experience, we'll head to the majestic Birla Mandir, also known as the Lakshmi-Narayan Temple. This modern sanctuary is a masterpiece of pure white marble.
