We’ll begin our experience with a warm meet and greet at a beautiful backwater-side home, where you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink. I’ll then give you a brief introduction to the trip and what to expect during our adventure.

Our journey covers around 20 kilometers of cycling through scenic countryside routes filled with local charm and natural beauty.

We’ll ride along quiet backroads and make our first stop at a wetland, an ideal spot to observe a variety of bird species native to the area. Along the way, you’ll also see traditional fish farms and the iconic Chinese fishing nets, an integral part of Kerala’s coastal culture.

Next, we’ll continue along the coastal highway to a lively local fishing harbour, where you’ll witness the morning fish auction in action — a fascinating glimpse into the lives of local fishermen. We’ll also visit the nearby Fishermen’s Church, uniquely designed in the shape of a fishing boat.

From there, we’ll take our bikes on a ferry to the Changaram wetland, another excellent location for birdwatching and soaking in the tranquil beauty of the backwaters.

Finally, we’ll return to the backwater-side home, where we’ll wind up the trip and enjoy a delicious local meal together.
