Begin your day with a private pickup from your hotel in Bali. Travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to Besakih Temple, Bali's largest Hindu temple complex, located on the slopes of Mount Agung. Explore the temple grounds and learn about its significance from your driver-guide.
Next, head to the Sidemen Valley, where you'll stop to admire the rice terraces and traditional village scenery. Meet a local artisan for a hands-on weaving mini class. Learn about traditional Endek and Songket textiles, see how a hand-operated loom works, and try basic weaving techniques yourself.
After your weaving class, enjoy a lunch stop in Sidemen (at your own expense). Choose from a variety of local dishes and take in the views of the surrounding countryside.
